Example :

2.    Contrast (although/though/eventhough)
Example :
·      Ici got high marks eventhough he had studied less.
·      Although Ici had studied less he got high marks.

3.    Time (after/before/when/while)
Example :
·      I will read this book after I finish talking with him.
